Jürgen Regenold is the founder and chairman of regenold GmbH, a full suite regulatory service provider including development, market access and life science management.
Jürgen has an extensive background in the pharmaceutical industry as a successful entrepreneur and has refined a very pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to highly complex product and business development issues through many years of consultancy experience.
After receiving his university degree in pharmacy Jürgen spent four years conducting pharmacological research. Thereafter he worked on both the management and regulatory side of pharmaceutical product development and established regenold GmbH in 1994.
Jürgen began identifying resources and regulatory expertise in selected European countries which led him to establish regulanet®, a global network of independent, collaborative partners with highly-specialized domain expertise.
Jürgen has led and managed the growth of regenold GmbH and CE plus GmbH, the medical device division, into a full-service international consultancy with more than a hundred employees.
Bernie is an economist by training and completed his MBA at the University of California, Berkeley. He has developed a career in Venture Capital and Private Equity ultimately as a partner at 3i Group plc where he built and led the life science sector team. More recently he supported Bridgepoint in the development of the healthcare sector as a Managing Director of Bridgepoint Capital GmbH.
Although an economist by training Bernie has dedicated his career to the life sciences and medical device space with particular experience in pharmaceuticals and diagnostics.
Bernie has led numerous acquisitions and financings in life sciences and sat on the board of companies like betapharm, xellia pharmaceuticals, Micromet, Rodenstock and Pulsion Medical Systems when he established a close relationship with Jürgen Regenold through joint due diligence exercises.
In his executive roles Bernie not only led the assessment of numerous investment opportunities in life sciences but also actively supported management teams in the execution of various business development activities.
Luisa is a pharmacist by training focusing on digital transformation and data science and currently holds a position as an Analyst at Life Vision Ventures.
She gained experience in the assessment and implementation of data science and other innovative projects in the life sciences field at regenold GmbH and currently undertakes a part time MBA in Digital Transformation Management at the Goethe Business School in Frankfurt.
